The original founder, a master glass maker, decided to explore using Muranese, hand-casted techniques to produce glass bricks for his property. On seeing the results, he instantly knew he had created something special. Poesia was born. Poesia is the Italian word for poetry, and perfectly captures the handmade cast glass products we design and manufacture. Over the years, we have constantly innovated to supply glass bricks around the world, including the stunning Crystal House in Amsterdam.
This project instilled belief in the cast glass movement. It fuelled the imagination of architects and drove our evolution as a glass studio. Since then, our talented team have continually delivered an ever-expanding product range onto a global stage, producing everything from glass furniture and lighting to cladding and floors.
